On 27 November 2008 Shanghai Burkhardt Leitner constructiv, the Chinese sales partner of Burkhardt Leitner constructiv, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer of architectural systems, invited delegates to attend an event looking at trade fairs and sustainability.

With example constructions and installations both inside the club and in the grounds the Chinese affiliates demonstrated the diverse applications for Burkhardt Leitner constructiv’s architectural systems in the trade fair sector. From two-storey exhibition stands to small 10m2 yurts – the various configurations displayed the capabilities of the system principles constructiv PILA, constructiv PON, constructiv CLIC und constructiv TELVIS. In this way the guests were able to peruse the most important system components and example configurations dotted about the location. Between a guided tour and a banquet, among others Aaron Lu, Project Manager at Shanghai Burkhardt Leitner constructiv, gave a  presentation on “Sustainable Exhibition Architecture with a System”.

The event was planned, organised and executed by Shanghai Burkhardt Leitner constructiv who the Stuttgart system manufacturer has been successfully working together with since 2002. While their earlier cooperation focussed on Office and Interior, the business area that was most familiar to Managing Director of Shanghai Burkhardt Leitner constructiv, Yanguo Cai, this has since expanded to include all expressions of temporary architecture – Trade Fairs, Displays, Museums and Exhibitions as well as Public Spaces. These diverse expressions can be viewed at the three showrooms in Shanghai, Peking and Guangzhou, which have the most important architectural systems on display.
