Good Design Award 2009 for the InteractiveWall. This innovative project realised by Festo, the Delft University and Burkhardt Leitner constructiv (under direction of Andreas Dober) convinced the expert jury of the Chicago Athenaeum, the museum for architecture and design.
This price is internationally known as one of the best awards for innovative designers and architects and it is classified under different categories. The competition was founded in 1950 by Egar J. Kaufmann, the first director of the New York Museum of Modern Art, in co-operation with some of the most famous American designers, such as Charles and Ray Eames or Russel Wright.
In addition to form and aesthetics, the special focus is on innovation, material, functionality as well as the conception. The awards show will take place in June 2010 at “The Chicago Athenaeum”.
