From 11 to 16 April the Biennale Light Culture take place for the fifth time – at the same time like the world’s leading trade fair Light&Building in Frankfurt. More than 150 light installations will be shown in the Rhine-Main area.

Offenbach, ‘cross border commuters’: There are many cross border commuters, between Offenbach and Frankfurt too. Our partner artefakt-Offenbach builds a temporary light bridge using the architectural system constructiv PON. The bridge illuminates the ‘borders’ of 12 people – these are both well-known, prominent but also normal ‘everyday heroes’. The light bridge made up of constructiv PON will span the existing concrete arc.

Frankfurt, ‘blackbird’: Jon Pahlow and Agnes Stockmann hide light. The artist duo JA-Art uses the power and the music of nature. artefakt-Offenbach builds a cubicle with constructiv PILA Petite in the heart of Frankfurt. At nightfall a hedge in the black cubicle ‘blackbird’ will glow in magic green.
