As patron of the campaign UNITED FOR AFRICA the Federal President Dr. Horst Koehler opened the toys exhibition ‘Global Players’ in October 2009 at the Museum of Technology in Berlin. Africa’s children create toys from waste.
Using flip-flops, wire, rests of rubber, wood or withered banana leaves: the little ‘Global Players’ easily change this waste into small trucks, imaginative aircrafts or footballs. The travelling exhibition is realised with constructiv CLIC. Zeichenverkehr Duesseldorf is responsible for the concept and design, Schirwon Cologne implemented the project. The exhibition will be at the Cologne Chocolate Museum from 07 June until 27 of August.
