On 10 February 2012 the iF communication design award 2012 in gold was granted to Ippolito Fleitz for the burkhardt leitner_modular spaces trade fair stand as part of the official award ceremony. Designs judged by the jury to meet a very high design standard are granted the iF communication design award. Ippolito Fleitz Group and Burkhardt Leitner were granted the iF communication design award 2012 in gold for the trade fair stand at EuroShop 2011. In February 2011 the trade fair stand was already granted the "Best of Show" Award EuroShop 2011 by the Chicago Exhibitor Magazine.

In addition to communicating the brand values precision, lightness, flexibility, modularity, mobility and durability as well as sustainability and preservation of resources, the trade fair stand by Burkhardt Leitner showed in a surprising and emotional way how architecture systems can be used and even staged. The stand concept was developed in co-operation with Ippolito Fleitz Group.
