German creativity is in demand in China. China's economic growth promotes a new Zeitgeist and a new middle class caring for high-quality design around them - be it in product design, exhibition design or in architecture. German design is popular and especially design from Baden-Württemberg. Numerous creatives from Baden-Württemberg work for China or even in China for the Asian market. In Shanghai, for example, a kind of Chinese Remstal, where companies such as Holzmedia, Burkhardt Leitner or Nimbus are present or are setting up business, has been developing for several years now.
Which possibilities do the Chinese and Asian markets offer for creative individuals and companies from Baden-Württemberg? Which rules should be followed when dealing with the "red dragon"?
